Here it is Wednesday the 25th and we leave White City on Friday. We had a pretty busy last 7 days, we found a piece of property that we liked, met with a realtor, and even put in an offer. The people that are holders of the property, Scott says "Bean Counters" - - said no and countered only 4,000 less that the asking price. Now, this properties garage has Bad, Bad Mold in it. The ceilings, and walls are covered and absorbed with Mildew and Mold, and not to make it much worse the cement floor has broken into 2 to 3 foot square, circle breaks, there is not a safe drive into the garage, and missing glass on the back wall. What a mess, a quick estimate is about $60,000 to hire someone to repair, and that could be a low estimate.
So they turned us down, but thats okay, we can continue on our trip for the year.
Yesterday Sue and Dave McCarron (HDT) and son and daughter-in-law arrived from Fairfield, Ca., so today they are off on their motorcycles sightseeing. Nice!!!
